2026 Hurricane Season Preparedness
Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30. Residents are encouraged to update family emergency plans and review emergency kits now.
LEPC Annual Meeting Held
The Local Emergency Planning Committee met to review hazardous materials planning, EPCRA compliance, and community outreach strategies.
New EOC Facility Now Under Construction
The FEMA-funded 4,500 sq ft Emergency Operations Center is now under construction, significantly expanding county emergency operations capabilities.
